Expanded Contact Info Page
Today we expanded our Full Contact Info page. It lists full contact information for numerous payday loan companies including those that are difficult to reach.
In response to reader requests, we added contact information for six more payday loan companies that people found hard to reach. The requested companies include Titan Group, Seaside Payday Loans, Cloud 9 Marketing and Sigma Solutions. We were able to find phone numbers for all six of them and mailing addresses for all but one.

Today we added a Full Contact Info page. It lists the full contact information for numerous payday loan sites including physical address, business name(s), phone and fax number(s). Where possible, we listed parent companies and the names of people to contact.
Getting in touch with payday loan sites can be difficult and frustrating. Due to limited resources, many online businesses only provide a contact form or email address. Responses may be slow or nonexistent. In time-sensitive emergencies such as sudden loan extensions, alternate phone numbers are useful.

Payday Loan Site Traffic Comparison Update – May 2011
We updated our Payday Loan Site Traffic Comparison page to reflect the latest data just released by Compete.
PayDayOne.com was the top site in terms of raw traffic and incoming links. They had an estimated 327,229 unique visitors and 559,910 visits during the month of April, 2011. The total number of incoming links reported by Compete was 648.
In terms of visits per person, CashCentral.com was on top with 2.1 visits/person. PayDayOne.com was the runner-up with 1.7 visits/person.

IP Ban for Ratings Abuse
Visitor-submitted lender ratings are important to us. They help borrowers make intelligent loan purchase decisions, help us remove bad lenders from our comparison pages and add substantial value to our site.
That’s why we monitor for ratings abuse and have a zero tolerance policy.
Yesterday, we discovered ratings abuse on two of our posts. One lender’s rating suddenly skyrocketed and another got an undeserved thrashing.
We removed the votes from our database. We also had to ban a user’s IP address. Here’s what happened and how we dealt with the abuse.

Price Increase at SonicCash.com
A kind reader has just notified us of a substantial price increase at SonicCash.com (link goes to our review page not the actual lender site).
We were notified today via our Contact page that their price increased from $25 per $100 borrowed to $35 per $100 borrowed.
This makes SonicCash the most expensive lender on our Compare Lenders page.

Added Most Popular Lenders Page
This week we added a Most Popular Lenders page.
Popularity is measured by number of unique click events. When a unique visitor to our site clicks on a lender, it counts as one click event. Subsequent clicks from the same visitor are not counted. We felt that the number of people who click on the link is more important than the number of times a link is clicked.

Added State Licensed Lenders Page
Today we added a State Licensed Payday Loan Sites by State page.
It lists online lenders who are either state licensed (or otherwise operating legally) for 51 states.
State licensed lenders are more likely to adhere to state and federal laws regarding loan financing terms, debt collection practices, privacy protection, etc., increasing the chances that you will pay less and enjoy a safer transaction.
For each state, we also included the maximum finance charge for a 14-day $100 loan as specified by state law. Unfortunately, there are loopholes in certain states that allow payday loan sites to charge more than your state maximum…
