On February 6, 2013, a kind reader sent us full contact info for Golden Valley Lending. Thank you! Your efforts help people every day.
On Sept. 30, 2013, we received these allegations: “Entity Details: I borrowed from Golden Valley to fix my van so I could keep it running and get the grandchildren to school. I borrowed because I couldn’t get a loan. The agreement was to deduct the payments every other Friday (when I got paid). A relative passed and I called Golden Valley and got a defer payment (on September 16), and the next payment would come out on my next pay day (which would be the every other Friday). Golden Valley breached the contract. On September 23, one week before I got paid they took out the payment causing me to be NSF at my bank which has never happened before. They lied for three days about putting the money back in my account. They took out the money a week early to see if I still had a checking account. Complaint: The contract with Golden Valley was to take payments every other Friday, which would be on my pay days. Golden Valley took it out a week earlier (which wasn’t every other Friday or not my payday) and they breached the contract. I followed the rules of the contract, but Golden Valley didn’t…”
