According to this Consumer Alert: “Huskhawk may refuse to cancel a transaction at the consumer’s request, and has charged fees in excess of those permitted by Washington State lending laws. Huskhawk Marketing Group is not licensed by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions. The company is not registered to do business in Washington by either the Department of Revenue or the Washington Secretary of State.”

From the Nevis Financial Services website: “The public is hereby advised that Huskhawk Group Ltd., a company incorporated on March 28, 2007 under the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance, 1984 (as amended), was struck from the register on March 3, 2011. A company that is struck from the register is not authorized to conduct the business activity for which it was organized. Persons intending to do business with Huskhawk Group Ltd. should therefore exercise utmost caution.”
On July 29, 2013, we received the following allegations against Liberty Group Partners: “18777316174-liberygrouppartner. This company somehow deposited money into my account and I did not sign a contract of any kind and did not see any terms regarding this loan. I did not consent to the loan and still received funds. When I called the number I received a message stating they were closed at 12:00 pm CST.”
On August 19, 2013, we received these allegations against Huskhawk Marketing: “I received a call to my place of employment from Landmark, which supposedly represents Huskhawk Marketing. The person (a lady) called from an unknown number and stated she was calling from the Bronx County Sheriff’s office and asked to speak with my supervisor. She called again and stated she was actually someone calling from Landmark on behalf of Huskhawk Marketing.” Editor’s Note: We’re not sure if “Landmark” refers to Landmark Legal or Landmark Processing.
