On August 14, 2013, a kind reader sent us the following allegations against National PDL Credit / NPDLC: “While checking out sites online to apply for a loan, I noticed two days later I suddenly had $300 deposited in my checking and the only information I have on who put in there is the acronyms above. I have no way to contact them, I never signed anything, and I have no idea when or in what manner they will access my account.”
On Sept. 6, 2013, we received these allegations against National Payday and TLE: “They tried to invoke a wage assignment for a loan that I didn’t sign up for. I had to do a wage revokation letter and they then sent this loan to collections. In New York payday loans are illegal and on the front page of their website they indicate that they do not lend in New York State. These people are idiots and I have filed a complaint with the New York State Department of Financial Services and retained an attorney to sue the debt collector… who is NOT tribal.”
On Sept. 26, 2013, we received the following info: “Mail returned from 515 G Street SE, Miami, OK marked ‘no such number.'” Editor’s Note: Thank you!
On Oct. 19, 2013, we received these allegations against National PDL: “I applied for a payday loan online and $100 showed up in my account and they have drafted to date $240.00 out and I have no way to get in touch with the company to request them to stop. I am going to go to my bank on Monday and close my account out and then see if I can locate this company and file civil suit.”
