DP Bureau (and its subsidiary CL Verify) offers identity verification, payday loan history reporting and other decision support solutions to payday lenders.

When you apply for a payday loan, lenders will usually check your record at DP Bureau, Teletrack or both…

Note: DP Bureau can only offer you a copy of the report they gave to the lender, not the specific reason(s) the lender denied your loan application.

Remember: payday lenders do not report to the major credit reporting agencies so payday loans cannot help your credit rating (but they can harm it). Please read Credit Rating in our Payday Loan Pitfalls category for details.

Also remember that your payday loan inquiry history is tracked. If you apply for a payday loan, the fact that you applied will become a part of your permanent record. Multiple applications will make it more difficult to get future loans. It is best to shop around carefully and compare payday lenders but only apply once.
