DomainTools offers a free WHOIS Search Engine which lets you search for details about payday loan websites including registrant contact information, geographical location and IP address.

Unlike other WHOIS services, this one offers Reverse IP so you can see if a payday lender has a unique IP address (usually a good sign) or a shared IP address (usually a red flag)…
