In the article by Deb Gruver, Selmon said his group was working with local businesses to educate people about the danger of payday loans. Directors at his group consider putting educational fliers in paycheck envelopes.

J.J. Selmon is a community organizer for the northeast chapter of Sunflower Community Action, a grassroots group active in payday lending issues.
