Patricia Davis
“I was a middle-class working person… I had a good job at Microsoft, a mortgage, a car, a lot of credit cards.”
Former Microsoft employee Patricia Davis never thought that she would have to take out a payday loan…
When she divorced and found that she could no longer cover all her bills, she took out a $500 payday loan because she was too embarrassed to turn to her family or employer.
After taking out several payday loans over two years, she spent a total of $3,600 in fees.
Although the loans have all been paid off, Davis still keeps the loan paperwork to remind her of her experience:
“I don’t ever want to be there again.”
Patricia Davis lives in Washington State.
