From the BBB Review of Payday Financial: “On September 6, 2011, the FTC filed a complaint… that alleges that Payday Financial, LLC, doing business as Lakota Cash and Big Sky Cash… illegally attempted to garnish consumers’ wages without obtaining a court order, to collect payments on payday loans. As a result, the defendants illegally revealed consumers’ supposed debts to their employers and deprived consumers of their right to dispute the debts or make payment arrangements, the FTC alleges.”

On Jan. 26, 2014, we received these allegations against Western Cash / Cash Call / Delbert Services: “I got a loan from Western Sky which then turned into Cash Call and now Delbert Services has my account. I fell behind in payments and was almost paid off on a settlement they offered me in which I didn’t have the money to make payment they harassed me and told me to go out and sell my body and rob people to get the money and that they didn’t care. I was also told to commit a federal crime by these people. I was to be paid off in January. Now they say it is going to be August. I even offered them a lump sum and they turned me down. I emailed the attorney general and was told these people are in the process of being shut down because western sky was shut down and so was cash call…”
