On January 25, 2013, a reader kindly sent us the following allegations about United Holdings Group LLC: “You might want to check this company out as well because I have a strong feeling that they are also a part of the Midland Companies and various other identities. Their website is MidlandCompanies.net with a phone number listed as 1-877-891-9021 and Fax 1-888-352-6769. They will never give you their contact info when asked. Possible address is: 1170 SW Harbor, Mill Terr Lees Summit, MO 64082. This company likes to threaten consumers for non payment and will constantly call consumers at work and harass them all day. They are in league with National Credit Adjusters who continues the abuse and threaten to send the sheriff to your job if you don’t pay right away. Their number is: 1-866-660-1626 and their address is: 327 W 4th P O Box 3023, Hutchinson, KS 67504. The Washington Department of Financial Institutions has issued a Consumer Alert against United Holdings Group: “Consumers complain that United Holdings Group, LLC charges excessive fees and would not apply payments to principal… United Holdings Group, LLC has no listed mailing address or physical location and will not provide one when asked by borrowers.”
On July 29, 2013, we received the following allegations against United Holdings LLC: “They deposited money into my account without us signing any documents, agreeing to or being offered any loan amount, interest amount, terms or conditions. We have never even spoken with them. We applied for a payday loan and entered our bank account info (reluctantly) and were told we were going to be “matched” with a lender to begin and finalize the application process. These people never even called us. I had to pay a stop payment fee of $30 which doubled to $64 because my account was negative.”
On Sept. 13, 2013, we received these allegations against United Holdings Group LLC: “This company stopped the ACH debit from my account and now is sending me emails and calling me saying I’m seriously past due. I’m not the one who stopped the ACH… they did!”
